It’s easy to get a Disney World tickets discount, but some places have better discounts than others.
The average Disney World tickets discount will be around $20 a ticket. The inconvenience may outweigh the savings if there are only one or two travelers, but for 4 or more, the savings of simply purchasing tickets early may be well worth it.

The Disney Store also has Walt Disney World tickets for sale, and are usually the same price as the pre-purchased tickets that Disney World offers.
Other websites have said that AAA offers ticket discounts, but when I spoke to a representative, I was told that they only offer discounts on the rooms, or on full packages, not tickets. This was several years ago and things may have changed since then. There’s no harm in asking if they have Disney World special offers, and you may find that the savings cover far more than the membership!
You may want to seek out reputable Disney park tickets resellers. These are people or companies who are licensed by Disney to sell Disney World park tickets at a discount. The savings may be small or huge, but many are eager to please the customer, since a happy customer is a repeat customer.
Be wary when purchasing tickets from anyone outside of those Disney has sanctioned, however, as there are many more scam ticket sellers than there are legitimate ones. Be especially wary of purchasing tickets off of eBay, as these can be used tickets, fake tickets, or in some other way unusable. If the tickets are not purchased directly from Disney, and your tickets are found to be invalid, you will not be admitted into the parks without first purchasing legitimate ones. Note that if you are offered used tickets that still have a day or more on them, you will still not be able to use them. Disney doesn’t always perform the finger scan on every ticket, every time, but they do it often enough that it’s simply not worth the risk.
In addition, there are travel agencies that specialize in Disney travel, and therefore have access to the best deals. So check around, and particularly check out all the details on any of the Disney World tickets discount offers that you find.
