There are so many Disney World discount packages available, where do you even start?
You can find Disney World discount packages through Walt Disney World’s official website. Simply visit their homepage, and when you find an ad that shows a special price, click it. It will take you to another page describing the special price or deal, or sometimes to a page describing more offers than just that one. The best deals aren’t always available on Disney’s own website, however, and there are a lot of other places to find great DisneyWorld deals.
Many associations offer discounts at Disney World, such as AAA. This particular association only applies if you live in the United States of America, but they offer discounts on Disney World hotels, generally at 10% off before tax, though the actual discount varies. I’ve seen special offers for those traveling from other countries as well, and you may wish to check with any other associations that you’re a member of before booking your vacation.
A travel agency needs to be aware of all the special pricing available for any given vacation. Not only can they get you some great Disney World discount packages, but they can find you affordable air fare and car rentals. Several agencies specialize in Walt Disney World vacation, and some of them even offer guarantees on price. Sometimes Disney will show special offers after you’ve already booked. You can call and cancel and rebook your vacation to get the deal price, but if you go through a special Disney certified or licensed travel agency, many of those will handle all that work for you. Some of them will do it at no extra charge!
Of course, if you’re staying in a Walt Disney World resort, you may want to consider one of the Disney Dining Plans. They can save you up to $30 a day per person. This has to be booked as part of a package, but if you plan to eat off property often or to bring some of your own food to the parks or hotel, you may want to book each element separately. For example, you could book the room with the AAA discount, and then pre-order your Disney World Park Hopper tickets from an authorized discount ticket seller. If you stay on Disney property, you can either take the bus, monorail, or ferry to the parks, or use the free parking pass to save that $10 a day parking fee.
No matter which method you choose, or even if you combine several different options, you’re bound to find that one of the Disney World discount packages suits your plans to a T.
